Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park is London's premier outdoor concert series, held over two weekends in June and July at the Great Oak Stage in Hyde Park, London W2. The festival has hosted some of the biggest acts in music history — Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Adele, Bruce Springsteen, and Robbie Williams have all headlined in recent years. Capacity is approximately 65,000 per day, making transport planning essential.
The main BST Hyde Park entrance is on the south side of the park at the gate on West Carriage Drive, accessible from Kensington Road. Your driver can drop at the Kensington Gate (south entrance, off Kensington Gore) or the Alexandra Gate (east entrance, off Kensington Road). Post-show collection is best arranged from Exhibition Road or Kensington Gore — slightly away from the main exit crowds. Your driver will advise on the specific meeting point based on current traffic conditions when you're ready to leave.
Hyde Park is well-served by tube: Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly), Knightsbridge (Piccadilly), Queensway (Central), and Lancaster Gate (Central) all border the park. However, after a 65,000-capacity sold-out show, all exits are extremely crowded. Post-show, 20–40 minute queues at tube stations are common. A pre-arranged private car, with your driver meeting you at a designated point 10–15 minutes from the main exit flow, eliminates the worst of this and gets you home significantly faster and more comfortably.
BST Hyde Park typically runs over two consecutive weekends in late June/early July. Gates open at midday; headline acts begin at approximately 8:30pm and finish by 10:30pm. Check the AEG Presents website for the 2026 lineup and dates.
