Race weekend runs from Friday (practice) through Saturday (qualifying) to Sunday (race day). Silverstone is located in Northamptonshire, approximately 80 miles from central London — a 90–110 minute drive via the M1/A43 or M40/A43.
Many guests attend all three days of the Grand Prix weekend — making a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday transfer package the most popular option. We can arrange hotel pickups from Milton Keynes, Northampton, or wherever you are staying near the circuit. For London-based guests attending race day only (Sunday), departing London by 7:30am gives comfortable arrival ahead of the first race support action.
The Silverstone Paddock Club is Formula 1's premium hospitality experience. Guests attending Paddock Club arrive at the dedicated Paddock Club entrance (Gate 4, Bridge Road) rather than the general public gates. Our drivers are familiar with all Silverstone access roads and can navigate the circuit's multiple entrance points. If you have VIP or Paddock Club access credentials, confirm these at booking for routing advice.
Post-race Sunday traffic at Silverstone is legendary — roads can be gridlocked for 2–3 hours after the race ends. Our recommended strategy: wait inside the circuit until 6–6:30pm (race usually ends 4–4:30pm), then depart for a much cleaner drive back to London. Your driver will monitor road conditions and advise on the best departure time.
